Rear Extension & Full Renovation of a Victorian House
This project involved the complete renovation and modern extension of a Victorian house in Waltham Forest. Our works combined contemporary construction methods with careful restoration to retain the property’s historic character while upgrading it to modern living standards.
The scope included the construction of a new rear extension, a new bathroom installation, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, polished concrete flooring, and bespoke natural wood joinery. A central courtyard was formed as part of the works, designed to bring daylight deep into the plan and create a calm focal point within the home.
Externally, the rear facade was finished with ribbed render, providing a robust, textured surface with a natural finish. To the front elevation, reclaimed bricks were used to preserve the original appearance and ensure the property remained in keeping with its Victorian streetscape.
