New bespoke joinery and heating system throughout the property in addition to installing new re-claimed flooring on all floors. Extensive renovation of existing stairs / handrails (French Polishing etc.) etc was also undertaken.
We have had the opportunity to work with JK Construction on a number of projects and found them to provide a very professional service. They combine the rare skill of competitive tendering with an exceptional and genuine commitment to the project quality. It is rare to fine honest contractors who don’t cut corners and hide problems away. JK Construction work with an open book policy, highlighting problems and suggesting proper, long term solutions.
This project combined extensive structural basement works in an area of London renowned for access problems and complicated Party Wall issues. JK, as usual, maintained good neighbour relations while at the same time progressing the works on schedule. At all stages communication with ourselves and indeed the client was excellent. They managed the range of specialist sub-contractors, from heating contractors through to bespoke joinery suppliers with tact and clarity meaning we had very few problems. Those that did occur (and they always do!) were dealt with professionally and without cost to the client. In short, we would happy recommend JK to other professionals and look forward to working with them again.
